Cold River Boerboels
We have decided to bring our 20+years experience in working, training and breeding dogs, to the world of the South African mastiff's or better known as Boerboels. Put simply our goal is to only breed the best stock. We make conformation, workability and health our top priority. Our dogs work, live and enjoy farm life. While enjoying the farm life, they have constant interaction with children, dogs, cats and poultry. We breed for purpose and functionality. All our Boerboels are Triple Registered: AKC, UKC & SABBS. DNA Tested and Health Tested with OFA or Penhip. Over the years we have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. Our mission and top priority is to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes! Our goal is Breed Preservation. Since Boerboels are still are rare and unique breed in the USA there numbers are still perilously low and In many cases, their original jobs are no longer viable.
